General Terms & Conditions

Use of this website/booking engine signifies your agreement to these terms and conditions. Should you disagree with any portion of these terms, you are advised not to utilize this website/booking engine.

Prices are stated in US Dollars. Clients are responsible for covering all associated fees for both local and international bank transfers, as well as any commissions on credit card transactions, if applicable.

Before proceeding with a booking, it is imperative that you thoroughly review these terms. Engaging with this website, or corresponding in writing with Kumana Safaris for travel planning, affirms that you are at least 18 years old and that you unreservedly agree to these conditions.

It is expected that all information you provide will be both truthful and precise, and it will be handled with confidentiality.

Pet Policy

No pets are allowed within and around the national park due to safety and environmental concerns.

Final Payment

Single-Day Safaris – Full payment must be settled at the end of the safari.

Bookings & Reservations for Overnight Packages – Should there be any outstanding balance for your travel arrangements, it must be settled by you at the first meeting point.

Payment Schedule

  • For bookings made within 0 to 30 days before the arrival date, payment in full is required.
  • For reservations made more than 30 days before the arrival date, a minimum deposit of 40% of the total amount is needed. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before arrival.

We hold the authority to cancel your booking if payments are not made within the specified timeframe.

Amendments and Cancellations

We commit to making every reasonable effort to deliver the travel arrangements as confirmed, yet we reserve the right to make changes to the travel arrangements, provided that we notify you in advance.

Cancellation Policy

To cover administrative and logistical expenses, the following fees apply:

14 – 28 Days notice 50% Charge
7 – 14 Days notice 75% Charge
Less than 7 Days No Refund

* Kumana Safaris should receive the cancellation in writing via email.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

All provided itineraries serve as sample outlines. Various factors including weather conditions, road states, and the physical abilities of participants may necessitate adjustments. We hold the right to modify any planned schedule to ensure safety and comfort.

We are not liable for program delays or alterations resulting from natural hazards, flight cancellations, transport breakdowns, adverse weather, health issues, political unrest, or any unforeseen events beyond our control.

Personal belongings and luggage remain at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. We recommend visitors arrange their own insurance in their home country.

Health & Travel Docs

It falls under your duty to ensure that you and your group receive appropriate vaccinations and possess valid passports and visas. We cannot be held accountable for issues arising from missing travel documents.

Behavior & Damages

Any breakages, losses, or damages caused by you are your responsibility. disruptive behavior or risks to staff/nature may result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
